David Draiman
This is an illustration of one of my favorite musicians, David Draiman, the singer on the heavy-metal band Disturbed. He is Jewish, though not observant or anything. The words in the background are in Hebrew. On the left, we have a Hebrew transliteration of the refrain "will you give in to me?" from his song "The Sickness", one of my favorites. On the right is the Hebrew word "Tefahed", which means "You should be afraid". Draiman repeats this Hebrew word several times in another one of his songs.

BDS Hypocrisy
Advocates of BDS (Boycotts, Divestment, and Sanctions) against Israel routinely show their hypocrisy: they do not blink an eye at the horrible human rights violations occurring every day in countries like Sudan, China, the Arab world, Burma, and others, yet condemn Israel's actions in combating terrorism aimed at its civilians.

Kosher GMO?
Cartoon for an article about the issue of Kashrut (Jewish dietary restrictions) and genetically modified foods. In the desert, according to the Torah, God fed the Israelites manna, a food that would only last one day, except on Friday when they would collect a double portion for the Sabbath, since collecting was prohibited on that day.

Loosening Mugabe's Iron Grip
Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe has been in control of the country for 28 years, during which Zimbabwe, which used to be an agricultural producer, now is reliant on aid, unemployment has skyrocketed, and Zimbabweans have been pushed into poverty. This year, for the first time, an opposition candidate, Morgan Tsvangirai, has wrested control of the parliament from Mugabe's party, perhaps beginning the unraveling of Mugabe's iron fist of control of the country.

Skirting the Issues
Condoleeza Rice travels to the Middle East to pressure Mahmoud Abbas, the Fatah leader, and Ehud Olmert, Israeli Prime-Minister, to talk and make peace arrangements. All the while, the fact that Abbas is weak and that Hamas, which is in control of the Gaza Strip, will not accept any peace arrangements (that don't include Israel's destruction), is ignored. No true peace can occur without either Hamas' ousting or its agreement to recognize Israel's right to exist. Without this, there is almost no possibility that such talks will lead to any progress. For the moment, Israel needs to continue to suppress Hamas terrorism and daily rocket attacks, and I see no end in sight for now.

International Law My Ass
Israel's court recently declared legal a cut in provision of fuel and electricity to the Gaza Strip, which is currently under the control of Hamas, a terrorist group that has vowed to destroy Israel, as a punishment for continued terror attacks on Israel. Meanwhile, Israeli "human rights" activists (more like "Hamas rights" activists) have declared this move as against international law. Well, guess what?! Hamas doesn't give a shit about international law! Stop having mercy on terrorists!

The Real Huck
Republican candidate Mike Huckabee is showing two faces to the American public. He went on a talk show to play his bass guitar, portraying himself as a hip liberal, when people forget that in reality he is a conservative minister who holds anti-abortion and anti-gay marriage positions. People need to pay attention to who they vote for.
